The Tsar's Golden Slippers

A cryptic message. A dead ballerina. A century-old mystery.

Он любит меня, Он не любит меня

Could this clue really lead to the Tsar's Golden Slippers, a pair of jeweled ballet slippers once given to legendary Russian ballerina Natalya Markevich by Tsar Nicholas II?

Maybe.

But, at first, thirteen-year old Shelby Sullivan doesn't care. She's competing for a guest spot with the New York ballet, against her best friend, Ally. The nastiest girl in school just singled her out. And her dad's about to lose his lame museum curator job…again. It's not like she has time for ancient mysteries and tragic monarchs.

When her mother forces Shelby to help clean the apartment of her dead neighbor, Shelby finds a photo of Natalya Markevich and the hand-written clue tucked within the frame. Suddenly, she sees a chance to find the ballet slippers and help her father's sagging career. But what exactly do the symbols mean? And what is their connection to a famous ballet?

The search takes Shelby and Ally in and around New York City as they uncover the secrets from the ballerina's past. Will the girls find Natalya's priceless treasure? Or will the ballet slippers, like the Tsars, be lost to history?

Nothing bad could ever happen at Tiffany's. Or, could it?

New York City, 1960. A necklace is stolen from the Breakfast at Tiffany's movie set. In a store with the tightest security in the world, how did the thief escape?

Shelby Sullivan thinks she finally has it all. With newfound fame as a teen detective, an A-list celebrity friend and a dad with a hot new job at Tiffany & Co., Shelby's finally ready to join the popular table. She's even helping her dad with his first assignment: a fashion show featuring iconic Tiffany jewels, like the original pearl and diamond necklace Audrey Hepburn wore in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Or, is it the original? When an old security guard tells Shelby about the unsolved 1960 theft, she sees another opportunity to play detective.

Solving the mystery takes on new urgency when the girl who thinks she has it all, starts to lose it all. An item is stolen from the fashion show, and Shelby's dad is suspected. Her old best friend thinks she's a traitor. And her new superstar friend, well… turns out to be super lame.

To find the necklace, Shelby must piece together a fifty-year old set of clues. But can she solve a mystery that has baffled the experts for decades?

Whatever. It's not like she hasn't done it before.
